FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
The Workshop on Geometric Methods in Physics is the annual international conference in the field of mathematical physics and mathematics organized by the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Białystok, Poland. The topics covered at the meetings span wide areas of classical and quantum physics, geometry, topology, analysis and algebra, inspired by geometric approaches to problems arising in physics.
The conference offers an excellent opportunity for the exchange of ideas between physicists and mathematicians, in an informal and inviting setting. We especially encourage the participation of early career scientists.
The programme consists of invited plenary lectures (55 minutes), as well as other invited and contributed talks (40 or 25 minutes). Participants are also offered the possibility of presenting their contributions in poster form. On-line participation will be possible for those who will not be able to attend in person.
TOPICS

PLACE AND TIME
The arrival date is Sunday, June 30. The scientific activity will run from Monday, July 1 till Saturday, July 6.The 2024 Workshop will take place in the campus of our University in Białystok located at Ciołkowskiego 1M, Białystok. The city of Białystok is located some 200 kilometers from Warsaw at the edge of Knyszyn Forest. It is the capital of the Podlachia region and has a rich history which merges Polish, Jewish, Belarussian and even Tatar cultures. The touristic landmark of the city is a baroque palace complex built by hetman Branicki.
We plan a number of special events during the XLI Workshop, including a campfire, a conference dinner and an excursion.
There is no airport in Białystok, so the most convenient way to get there is via the Chopin Airport in Warsaw and to continue by train to Białystok. Please refer to the Travel guide on our webpage for details.
