The Universal Teichmueller space and the restricted Grassmannian
We will describe the universal Teichmueller space and its connexion to some infinite-dimensional hermitian-symmetric spaces like the restricted Grassmannian and infinite-dimensional Siegel domains. Some new and old results on the geometry of these spaces will be presented.
