Coherent states of the asymmetric harmonic oscillator


We have constructed formal coherent states for an asymmetric harmonic oscillator, where the asymmetry parameter is the ratio of spring constants.
The contribution deals with the study of their properties. These states generally do not satisfy all the required properties for coherent states.
During the time development, coherent states introduced in this way become decoherent. For specific asymmetry parameters, coherent states can be constructed on the subspace of states that preserve coherence during time evolution.
