Infinite Dynkin diagrams and monoidal actions in Lie-theoretic context
Dynkin diagrams, both finite and infinite, are combnatorial gadgets which are used in many areas of modern mathemtics. In particular, they appear in classification of various objects related to the monoidal category of finite dimensional representations of the Lie algebra $sl_2$ and its quantum analogue. In this talk I will discuss some classical examples as well as certain $sl_n$-generalizations.
