Elmar WagnerDirac operator on a noncommutative Toeplitz torusWe present an even spectral triple on a noncommutative torus defined as a subalgebra of the Toeplitz algebra. This spectral triple has spectral dimension 1, so one can say that the Toeplitz deformation results in a "dimension drop" of the noncommutative torus. This dimension drop will be discussed in the talk. (Joint work with Fredy Diaz.) |
