A quantum integrable system on the sphere and bispectrality

I will discuss hypergeometric functions in several variables orthogonal with respect to the multivariate beta distribution within the context of the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{t}_{d+1}$. This interpretation naturally leads to the construction of bispectral commutative algebras of partial difference operators related to a quantum (super)integrable system on the sphere.
