Gaudin subalgebras and moduli spaces of stable rational curves

The Gaudin subalgebras are certain abelian subalgebras of Kohno-Drinfeld Lie algebra. I will explain that they form a smooth variety isomorphic to the moduli space of stable rational curves with marked points. The talk is based on a joint paper with Aguirre and Felder.
