On application of nonclassical symmetry to nonlinear evolution and wave type equations
We study the reduction of nonlinear evolution and wave type differential equations by using operators of non-point conditional symmetry. We show that the approach can be used for construction not only exact solutions but Backlund transformations too for the equations under study. We also study the application of equivalence transformations group to Schrodinger equation.
