An approach to general conformal-invariant nonlinear electrodynamics
This talk describes some work in progress with S. Duplij and V. Shtelen, extending further our earlier generalizations of classical Maxwell, Yang-Mills, and supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories based on nonlinear constitutive equations. In our current work, we seek to write nonlinear constitutive equations on the (4+2)-dimensional space in which the conformal compactification of (3+1)-dimensional Minkowski space is embedded. The background to our approach will be presented in a self-contained way.
