Solving the Insoluble: A New Rule for Quantization
Enhanced Quantization offers a new way to assign quantum and classical theories that leads to conventional canonical results when they work, or leads to acceptable results when canonical methods fail (e.g., triviality of quartic covariant scalar fields in space time dimensions 5 and greater). The new methods offer solutions for nonrenormalizable models including quantum gravity. One - or two - examples that fail canonical quantization will be solved (depending on the time available)..
